The Burkhardt Group's service menu has been shaped by a few simple principles:

Accordingly, we are pleased to offer the following options:
 
Services for homeowners
 
•         Full service, commission-based
 
This is the familiar package of marketing and closing services traditionally offered by a listing agent, delivered by a highly-qualified team of professionals and support staff.  There's one important difference: substantially lower cost.  With the Burkhardt Group, you save up to 84% compared to full-commission brokers.  On a typical sale, for example, we charge only 1% of the closing price.  
 
•         Defined services, commission-based
 
This option follows the traditional model in which the agent is paid when a sale or lease closes, but you pay only for the services that make sense for you, with additional savings that reflect your situation. 
 
•         Defined services, fee-based
 
For property owners who prefer predictable costs - and even bigger savings - we offer defined services on a flat-fee or hourly basis.
 
Services for Home-seekers
 
First, a word of explanation.  At the Burkhardt Group, we don't classify clients as "buyers" or "renters".  We encourage home-seekers to consider their full range of options, even if it ultimately means less revenue for us.   With this philosophy in mind, we offer the following flexible services:
 
•         Commission-based 
 
As you probably know, the commission split for a "buyer's broker" is built into most sales listings, and many rental listings.  The Burkhardt Group turns this convention to your advantage.  If you designate us as your representative on a purchase or lease, we will rebate up to 67% of the buy-side commission split to you upon closing.  To make the deal even better, this service is unconditionally guaranteed.  If you believe you can achieve a better result through direct negotiation with the listing agent, you can terminate our relationship at any time.
 
•         Fee-based
 
Home-seekers who need only specific consulting or execution support, we are happy to quote defined services on a flat-fee or hourly basis. Available services include:
- Market analysis, including prior sales and current listings.
- Preparation of application materials and coop board packages.
- Interview preparation
- Property evaluation
- Recommendation of qualified, unaffiliated professionals: attorneys, movers, etc.
